It's not that I went into this book unaware of what it would be-- I was expecting something fluffy and cute, and that is what this book is. But, it was just a little too devoid of depth for me. The main characters don't have much going for them personality wise and Certainly don't have flaws. I thought they might have made the story a bit more interesting by making the actor-love-interest uninformed on the show he was playing a role in, but no, they had to make him perfect and all-knowledgeable. The writing also seemed dull, and while that's something I can get over if the story has other things going for it, this didn't really give me much to keep me going.
I think that some might enjoy this book. And, as someone who has struggled like this with several other straight romance books, maybe I just need to stop reading them. They might be some people's genre, but it seems that they never hit right for me.
