I had a really hard time getting into this book. It was gruesome and hard to embrace. It reminded me of the Wolf Winter books in that the morality of the MCs was questionable. Some people like this. I’ve realized I’m not always one. However the story telling was great with good imagery and dialogue. I don’t think I would pursue more books in this world.
