This was awful. Fluffy fiction certainly has a place in my heart, but this was mind-numbingly pointless. I kinda liked the characters, but drunk gay sex can’t sustain a reader’s interest without something resembling a plot. I gave up and didn’t finish. Can’t believe this was a Goodreads winner!??

is it perfect? no.
Is it perfect for what it's trying to be? yes, absolutely. It's great, read it.

(also, it feels like someone should go to jail for not including June in the movie, it's a crime)

It's suggary sweetness and light hearted. Problems get resolved quickly and it really picks up once the romance element really gets going. It can drag a little when it gets to the politics.

actually really loved this :’) some really beautifully written parts. some annoying pop culture references but whatever. queer love is the best and it was nice to live in this happy little world
