Prince Arren's story, with Ged as companion. So good.

The second half really dragged this rating down to be honest. I enjoyed the first half, the interactions between grown Ged and Arren and their journey through the Isles. The second half however felt slow paced, filled with unnecessary information and sometimes (in my mind at least) Ged seemed to be full of contradictions. Also Arrens behaviour confused me a lot of the times and the climax of it all left me a bit disappointed and the villain seemed like not such a threat after all. I know that the point was that Cob is not a great wizard like Ged and only seeked greatness but the finale really didn't give me a lot of emotions. The only thing that redeemed it for me was that Ged returned home to Gont in the end which makes it all come full circle in a way. But now I'm excited for the last of the first four books to see where it might take us.
