My first Paul Auster book and now I want to read more. I enjoy his style; first-person, straightforward sentences conveying complex stories, emotions and ideas. It's easy to read. It's the story of a 60-year-old divorced man in Brooklyn that spirals, effortlessly, to include the story of two, three, four, maybe more other families. Plenty of random, quite soap opera-y plot twists keep the pace up. I raced through it and I also loved the ending.
