I’ve really been enjoying reading this series. The art and story are fantastic. I would have been a higher rating for this book, but I was not prepared for the brutal murder at the end of the book. I know there is gore and death in Stranger Things but this felt excessively bad and a little out of place.

really liked how this was a continuation of Six (i had no idea!) and how it situates within the timeline of the show

also the bonus comic - The Game Master - was sooo sweet :(

This was an interesting sort of side story to the greater Stranger Things story. It was initially hard to get invested in because I didn't recognize the characters, but once you learn how they tie in, it gets a bit more interesting. The tie in at the end with Nancy, Steve and Mike seemed weird, it didn't really relate to the story at all - to the point where I thought it was like a preview of the next comic.

I'm not sure why they put Kali on the cover of this one, when she's only present for a couple of pages. The main story revolves around three and nine's sister trying to locate nine. While nine is stuck in her imaginings of a Disney princess style world initially given to her by Kali. This was a pretty cool story, but a weird sidetrack from the usual Stranger Things characters that I'm not entirely sure I was interested in reading.

The best part about this book in my opinion was actually the bonus story at the end which has Steve helping Nancy find out how Mike is doing, post the events of season one, and figuring out how to help him.

As with some of the other graphic novels this one contains some bonus full-page artworks by different illustrators. These are a great edition with some really beautiful pieces. The rest of the illustrations, while not to my usual taste, are pretty good.
