This book was amazing! I took so much from this. Now it‘s my part to start my healing journey and it already feels like i‘m deep into it!

I thought I was relatively well adjusted and had escaped lightly from childhood trauma and conditioning, until I read this book. Had to take a break half way through to digest and reflect. It had definitely changed my life for the better. I think everyone would benefit from reading this book. Thanks Dr Nicole LePera

Finally finished this after putting it down for a few months. This book was fine. She lost me on a lot of the gimmicky nicknaming of things like "SelfHealers" and "feel-bads".

She also lost me from the start when she said, "... where physical and psychological symptoms are messages, not lifelong diagnoses that can only be managed". Saying that chronic illness can be healed by healing trauma is way too woowoo for me. I hate that messaging.

I think there are some good nuggets in this book to reflect on, but the book needs to be taken with the same grain of salt as all self help books.

Did you know shallow breathing causes ADHD? You heard it here first! /s

There's some good content in here, but there's also a lot of unsubstantiated nonsense (see above) which makes recommending this book in any way difficult. Her history as a social media healer has a fair bit of controversy associated as well.
