So much nostalgia. I loved the Flower Fairies so much when I was young and now being able to read this with my daughter was such a lovely experience. The art is stunning and the poems are sweet and informative without feeling like you are just sitting learning a lesson about plants. Love this

I've always loved fairies and while I've read several of CMB's poems before, I never sat and read them all.

What an absolute delight. From the stunning illustrations to the lovely poems, I just loved reading this. Not only is it cozy and fun, it's informative since CMB's illustrations are as true to life as can be (she was heavily inspired by the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood) and the poems add an extra layer and give you a deeper understanding of the nature and each flower as well as their fairy guardians. It really gives you a respect for nature that you might not otherwise get in this format and it's absolutely brilliant.

Definitely one to reread again and again.

I'll be honest, I got this book for the lovely pictures and just skimmed or skipped the poetry.

It feels good to have escaped reality once more with this dreamy read. The Fairy realm is truly enchanting and magical and I would like to visit there someday!! (Please don't crush my dreams by saying they aren't real :( I'd probably burst into a fit of tears).

I loved everything about this book — the rhyming verses which are creatively lyrical but very easy to read for children, and the illustrations which was largely inspired by Pre-Raphaelite art. That must be why I'm so drawn to the drawings since I become an enthusiast myself when it comes to Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood paintings.

I would definitely be glad to revisit this book someday. Probably read it to my future children or just re-read it for the sake of relishing in its mysticalness.
