maeverose's review against another edition
3.25
To start I should say that I skipped some of the stories because I wasn’t feeling them but I’ll rate the ones I did read:
What a Jedi Makes - Michael Kogge:
3/5
The Eye of the Beholder - Sarwat Chadda: 3.5/5
A Jedi’s Duty - Karen Strong: 4.5/5
I liked the setting of the Jedi temple and how this showed Bariss’s inner conflict about the jedi’s involvement in the war in a way that made sense. — I hated what they did with her character in the clone wars show, because she literally did the exact thing that she was trying to oppose. (And it was a really islamaphobic portrayal of her character too). *sigh* Bariss is one of those characters that could’ve been so good but was ruined by stupid writing. — This story made me like her more.
Worthless - Delilah S. Dawson: 4/5
I was getting enemies to lovers vibes with this story and I loved it lol. Always appreciate more clone content.
The Ghosts of Maul - Michael Moreci: 5/5
I really liked the spooky setting of this story. It was thundering outside while I was reading which really added to it lol. I loved how this story made you sympathize with him a little bit (or maybe that’s just me…). He just needs a hug. Sam Witwer’s narration was a 10/10. He’s such a good voice actor and I love him as Maul.

As I said I didn’t read all the stories so I probably missed some warningsasporkthief's review

fast-paced
- Plot- or character-driven? A mix
- Strong character development? It's complicated

- Flaws of characters a main focus? It's complicated
3.0
As with any anthology, some stories were definitely stronger than others — Qui-Gon's and Maul's were particular highlights.
Graphic: Injury/Injury detail
Moderate: Grief
