I’ve always loved this one ever since I first read it 15 years ago. Francesca is quite an independent woman and far different from most submissive females I’ve read in other books. I definitely suggest!

They were masters of the darkness, searching through eternity for a mistress of the light...

I truly enjoyed this book! Yes the Hero (main male character) is over bearing and probably not a feminist but it was still good!
It was well written with a vibrant world & well developed characters.

{Book Blurb} 'Every Carpathian male is drawn to his life mate, a Carpathian or human female able to provide the light to his darkness. Without her, the beast within slowly consumes the man until turning vampire is the only option.'
Whoa ... this Life Mate business is serious! Will Gabriel find his in time?

I really enjoyed this one. Not as short as the one before, but again different to the repetitive storylines that were in the first five books. This time the female was a Carpathian who had hidden from their world for centuries, thinking she was rejected by her mate, Gabriel. One of the infamous twins.

Turns out, she wasn't rejected at all, just that Gabriel just never knew she existed. But he does now. :D

Really good story, excellent characters that I'm hoping trail into the next book. I'd love to read more about Skylar and Lucian, who along with Gabriel, was a particular favourite of mine. I loved Lucian's part in this story, it was so cleverly done, although I did suspect it early on.

The only problem I had with this book was that there was bad continuity. One minute Santino's wife was called Braisilia and the next she was Drusilla and back again. It got a little confusing. When the change first happened, I had to do a double take to see if they were two different characters but they're not.

I know I say this everytime I read one of these book but REALLY?? This one started out so well! And then he basically raped her and then I was done. I hated him after that. Kind of hard to love a character after that even though she was totally cool with it. Which obviously made me think less of her. Ugh. Why can I not stop reading these? I just can't. I. Just. Cant. UGH.

I love this book. We meet Francesca who is impressively powerful and rightfully angry with Gabriel.
Gabriel tears my heart up with his sorrow over his twin
Even though I've read this a bunch of times, it never fails to warm my heart.
