This book is incredibly informative and thought-provoking. It invites readers to ponder how the cosmos have shaped humanity and reflects on our current reliance on modern science, often at the expense of the wisdom developed by our ancestors. The author provides a glimpse into how the scientific community sometimes dismisses other forms of knowledge as "unscientific nonsense." I did not regret picking up this book—it's a great read!

Fascinating and intriguing. From the mystery and magic of the cosmos, to the science theory - but with the magic and connection with the universe lost.

Not entirely bad, and with some good nuggets throughout, but mostly I found it wandered too much. I notice that every chapter came in with about a 30 minute estimate in my ereader, suggesting to me that the chapters were perhaps written to a desired length, rather than lengthed based on the amount of quality content available.
