Very poetic & dreamlike prose, but hard to follow plot-wise. A little too experimental for me. A bit like reading Virginia Woolf or Faulkner.
I actually really enjoyed this read, but it was just so confusing sometimes. I know that in a way it's part of its dream-like charm, but I'm the kind of reader who needs to know and understand everything so this one really tested me at times. I do like stories that take place in small towns though.
