For the first time in ages I didn't skip the sex scenes in a romance because these were well-written and organic to the story. There was real relationship building through them and they weren't just thrown in out of some misguided idea that over-the-top mindblowing sex is the virgin's stock in trade. It helped that the heroine isn't a virgin. But it helped more that there were thoughts about feelings and situations informing the scenes. Very much enjoyed this and hope the following books in the series show continued development for the author.
