Shaken by Livia Grant is one of the amazing stories in this anthology. It's a short, steamy read that mostly takes place in an elevator. The characters are interesting and their chemistry is crazy hot. I hope she takes it and expands it into a full novel because I would love to see what happens next.

Flirting with a good time by Willow Winters

This was just a 3 chapter read that Willow introduces us to new characters where their past crushes into their now life and maybe just maybe it's their time to get their soulmate.

Shaken by Livia Grant was an awesome tease of a story! I need more!
These characters Lanie and Jacob! And my heart broke with Lanie's story and how she was treated.
This story was quick, too quick, and very endearing.
The Devil's Chessboard by Skye Warren and Amelia Wilde
Hades and Persphone set in the Tanglewood setting. I need more of this story.
White Ribbon by Aleatha Romig
Van and Julia's unexpected meeting and coming together and their blissful reunion.
Once Upon a Snowstorm by Jennifer Bene with Flint and Brinnah, two people meeting again after not seeing each other for years and it is a stormy meeting!

Shaken by Livia Grant

This was a really, really short, sexy story. It was just enough to whet my appetite and only made me want more.

One thing that I appreciated about this story is that when Alaina was confronted by the assembly of males, she was docile and didn't cave. She got angry and stood up for herself.

Then, running into JR was oh so sweet, steamy, and allowed her to end her day with a sense of vindication. I would love to know what happened with JR and Alaina after they left the building. I would also love to find out what happened to the group that ruined her day. Definite 4.5 stars.

I voluntarily read and reviewed the Advanced Reader Copy of this book.

A beautiful collection of short stories by fabulous writers that let the reader know there are so many ways to love and be loved. From long term crushes becoming soulmates within shorts by Willow Winters and Jennifer Bane, to what really can go on in the Oval office from K.A. Linde there is so much in this book it is hard to pick my favorites. There are blind dates from Carrie Ann Ryan and dream dates from Marni Mann. Corinne Michael and Melanie Harlow wrap their tale around a stuck Christmas Tree and Livia Grant will keep you on the edge of your seat with embezzlement and a broken elevator. Nikki Ash will have not one but two brothers getting their HEA and Skye Warren and Amelia Wilde wil have a chess game filled with danger and romance. Snow plays a major factor in Jennifer Bene and Aleatha Romig's stories and Dylan Allen gives us a sexy new neighbor. Tia Louise makes sure a homecoming ends up bringing happiness to a bright future and Harloe Rae throws in a breakup to win all breakups - but ends in a HEA. J.D. Hollyfield brings a new twist on having friends make up a fake profile and Nana Malone reminds us that not all bad things come from falling for your best mate's sister while Jenna Hartley throws in a taboo relationship. This is a wonderful collection for a great cause. These little snippets have give the reader new authors to read and more than enough sighs of happiness.

I received a copy of White Ribbon by Aleatha Romig for my honest opinion. And honestly, it was amazing! It definitely did not feel like a novella. I was interested and rooting for Julia right from the start and got to know her and Van more than I expected to for a short story. The twist at the end had me wanting more. I'm so excited to see where the white ribbon takes them in the future!

My review is only on Shaken by Livia Grant. A normal book by Livia Grant will be part of a series - Black Light or The Punishment Pit as examples - but this complete short story is an example of how wonderful an individual, standalone story can be. There is so much emotion packed into every line that I wasn't very far into it before I was crying along with Lainie. Loved these characters but especially the ending, which didn't go the whole I've-known-you-for-2-minutes-&-love-you-forever route. Nothing I'd change in this perfect short read.

I read and enjoy Sierra and Kolton's short story from Nikki Ash. They are from her book Fool Me Once. And i really was dying for their story and this short story was the perfect way to get it. I can't wait to read more of the stories from this anthology.

Shot and sweet story between Cade and Sharon. Sharon‘s long time crush Cade returns home and they both spend some much needed quality time together.

I wish it was a little bit longer, but I enjoyed the few chapters that we got alot.
