Loved it!
Try to get your kid to read it. If they won’t, read it yourself and know the kid is missing out.
It’s funny and sweet and a great pallet cleanser between whatever else is on your night table.

We started with the book and switched to the audiobook. The narrator and the music made the book come alive! The kids absolutely loved it and were fascinated by what life was like during the Depression.

Laugh out loud funny. Bud is endearing in an instant, clever, and very witty. The characters he comes across are... characters! A winner with the whole family.
