Super thankful for this getting me out of a reading slump. Half star removed due to conflicts happening right after the other but a real contender for my favorite cozy fantasy. I loved the characters. The MC was so relatable. I loved the magical creatures in this world. I enjoyed the themes/topics such as doing what's lawful versus what's right and asking for help is not bad. Can't wait to explore this world more.
