A fairly by-the-numbers bio-comic. Nothing much to say or impart to its audience, and by the end, is unlikely to have left much of an impact.

I only read this maybe a week or two ago, and I remember being pleasantly surprised by how much I liked it. But the fact that (even after flipping through the pages) I don't remember basically anything about it other than the aesthetic chalks it up as forgettable. I do remember I read it in about a half hour one morning.

It's the story of two guys on drugs. I do remember appreciating the window into their brains, particularly the kid who used to be a bully. I feel like it's a perspective we don't get too often.

4.5 stars! The simplicity kills and offers a peek into a character you’d love to know more about. Poor Wolf, poor Mike. I’ve known a lot of guys like them.

Cool insight into masculinity that I wasn’t expecting to enjoy as much. Well paced and chilled out. I like books about friendships and wandering around at night. I guess the only thing I didn’t like was the art style.

A story about a person trying and failing to connect with himself and the world around him. I don't think it should be longer or have a more complicated plot. It's effective as is. It leaves you feeling hollow, melancholic and wanting more, like the character does.

The art is nice but i don't even feel like i read a story, it was kind of all over the place and going nowhere. It didn't change me in anyway possible and felt just like a manuscript that wasn't properly constructed and modified into a book.

I think i am gonna give up on this author, sometimes he has cool ideas and i love the netflix adaptations made around his stories, but the books itself usually disappoint me.
