The blurb made it sound like there would be a lot of Jack and Perry interactions, but there were so little :(

I loved this book! It was an easy and quick read, I flew through it in just a few hours. I loved how picturesque Stonebrook Farm sounded, really adored the big family dynamic of the Hawthornes and how they all welcomed Lila (and Jack) into the family with such care and ease. The banter between Perry and Lila was hilarious with all of the apple-puns, lots of laugh out loud moments in this book. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a lighthearted, romcom story.

Can’t wait to follow the Hawthorne brothers in the next book in the series!

Thank you to NetGalley and Jenny Proctor for an ARC copy of this book to review!

Perry is so sweet and everything I could possibly want the man in my life to be.

I am so sad to say I did not love this book. I read another of Jenny's books and loved it, so I was expecting to love this one but that wasn't the case. By the time I got halfway through I realized I was just reading it to read it, and that I wasn't really excited about finding out what happened in the end.

I love a grumpy/sunshine book as much as the next person but I feel like Perry wasn't really that grumpy. The drama towards the end was okay but not enough to make me love the story. I also feel like the story was bit rushed to be honest.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Perry was a bit annoying which was strange because I usually love the grumpy MMCs.

I liked how they did talk through the problem rather than dragging it out.
