I always find it a tad bit difficult to get into a RLS adult romance. I think it is because of the single POV and that she uses the first 100 pages or so to really set the story up. After the first 100 pages I am always hooked and love the rest of the experience, but she really makes up for a slow start by giving us an amazing, realistic, healthy story.
I loved the plot of this one. I loved the lessons Chandler was giving to Finn. I think every man should read this book and learn what it is to be healthy in the bedroom. Finn was so open- do men like this really exist? I hope they do, and I wish more would read this and find out.
At first I wasn't stoked about the OCD rep. As someone who has OCD, I don't love the "things must be clean" or "germs are gross" trope in OCD rep. But Solomon reminded me that OCD does manifest like that for many people. I just wish I could see more OCD rep like my OCD manifests, but maybe I just have to write that book. I did, however, love the little bit where Finn fees like he has imposter syndrome when it comes to OCD - I feel that often since I don't have an aversion to germs like people think OCD is. But any positive OCD rep is good rep.
Another fantastic and sexy adult romance by Rachel Lynn Solomon. I will forever buy and read her books because I just feel emotionally strong and represented after reading her stories.
