This is the latest contribution to Mansbach's parody picture book series, and it harkens back to the original's glory. Illustrations feature diverse representation and family units. Readers will enjoy variety of situations that this book covers, from the pregnancy to thinking about sending the children to college. Some readers may not appreciate the language in the book, and readers should be aware that this book is targeted for adults and not children.

For: parents, caregivers, and those who have children in their lives; readers looking for a humorous parody book.

Possible red flags: repetitive expletives.

The same frustrated parent now returns in book 3 of the series. This time there is a new little baby for the parent to take care of. There's no time for the first child as the new baby takes up all of his time. The first child acts out for attention from the parent. Now, the parent has to deal with two kids that take up all his time. Another hilarious book from Adam Mansbach.

A funny read. It covers all the aggravations of two children.

F*ing funny, and painfully (hilariously?) relatable for two-child families, I’m sure!
