The opening issue of in-world interviews felt both wonderfully meta and quite unnecessary, but Kieron gonna do what Kieron gonna do. The plot still feels very over-my-head in places, but then I snag a thread again and can't stop. McKelvie's artwork mostly makes up for the extremely cryptic dialogue. I love the way they're able to bring it back down from phenomenal-cosmic-power gods to the real people who are embodying these archetypes. Laura is a great character.

Always truly excellent. Cannot wait for the end. The writing is excellent, the embodiment of deities on point, the art style is breathtaking. And what a final line!!! Holy moley.
I also appreciated the opening to this edition, in which actual well known journalists interviewed Kieron as he pretended to be the Gods. Super interesting and unique take for the genre.

The artwork in this series is so beautiful, but the storyline is so messy. I barely made it through this volume.

Gillen and McKelvie ramp up the stakes. Consistently as good as the earlier volumes while getting more and more out there with every issue.
