Really liked this, I'm glad this was the first one that I picked up since Nine was my first Doctor. Decent story, it was wrapped up too quickly however. The illustrations were a bit of a distraction. It's like they couldn't decide if they wanted Jack to look like John Barrowman now or then, plus Rose had some odd panels as well.

Something just feels off about the characters to me and I’m not a fan of the art

I had a lot of fun reading a story about Ninth, Rose, and Jack again. I love rewatching the empty child & the doctor dances episodes.

A truly amazing Ninth Doctor tale. The art style is wonderful to behold, bar the odd frame choice. This story has all the tropes a Whovian will love: creative aliens, time travel, witty dialogue, a dynamic between the Doctor, Rose and Jack resembling their adventures in Series 1 and lots of running!
It nails so much. The villains are creative though could have done with a bit more fleshing out. The ending was also rather quick. Not so much the big climax but the general wrapping up.
Still, its a solid Doctor Who tale that perfectly bridges the gap between “The Doctor Dances” and “Boom Town”!

It stumbles to a conclusion but very enjoyable nonetheless
