A well drawn manga with fun characters and a pretty cool world with DRAGON PEOPLE.

Art: The art shifts from pretty detailed to simplified character shots. The art is always expressive though, I enjoy that. It's a got a real fantasy vibe to the illustrations. The characters are also pretty well designed, they're all unique.

Characters: The characters are fun with their designs and personality/mannerisms. However they aren't too fleshed out. Juana is a wild child who communicates in Spanish albeit not very often. characters. The main character Nid however... he definitely has a personality, but it's more to react and question what's going on. The next volume I have hope will give him some more personality. I like the supporting characters and the ones the duo meet on the road. They're full of personality and charm. However there are only a handful in this volume.

Story: Story I'm sure has been done many times before, someone finds a person/creature who seems alien to them and takes them in. My gripe is that it isn't done to well. There's not much focus on the two bonding, instead it's more about the journey. The journey so far is set up well, with the colorful characters. I like how Nid is just a normal guy, and he isn't super smart or strong. It makes for a more believable journey. The worldbuilding is also done well. Right off the bat you have many questions about the world, and they're anwsered appropiately and don't interrupt the flow of the story.

All in all, really strong start. No harm in trying it.

This became quite the action adventure series! Not necessarily a shounen level action series, but this story definitely didn't go the way I thought it would. I think it worked very well and seeing Nid becoming more aggressive and willing to step in to help someone was really nice. A good progression in the plot and keeps you guessing what will happen next.

This was a satisfying ending, if a bit rushed. I would have loved to have learned more about the world and seen more of it, but I'm fine with how the story ended. That scene, though, that scene at the end brought some tears to my eyes, I'll tell you that. I good ending to a good series, I hope the mangaka will go on to make other stories.

I thoroughly enjoyed this volume. Juana is absolutely adorable and fantastic, Nyed is cowardly but kind, and just overall like their dynamic. An interesting world and pretty artwork, not an original story but it works. Fun story, fun characters, not much to complain about.

This was a little bit of a slow start, but it got better as it progressed. It's a nice change though, where humans (0r Muernande) are the (almost) extinct race, while dragon/dinosaur creatures are the dominant beings of this world. And, that bond that was formed between the main characters seems to really work, as they continue on their journey.

But, all of the good that I liked and enjoyed in this volume, didn't come until the second half. That second half, had more adventure and emotion I was looking for and expecting. If it weren't for that, I doubt I would have picked up the next volume in the series. Maybe, it'll have even more of those moments in that volume... here's to hoping, because it's definitely interesting enough.

This was cool. It was as if the dinosaurs had evolved into humanoid forms after the extinction of the human race.

The one thing that sucked for me is that the Spanish Juana spoke didn’t get translated off to the side or in the back. I knew quite a few words but not all, which made reading it a bit of a pain.

This was pretty cute. I love books that set humans as the extinct species. Also I love and live for books with dragons. I also loved the bonus of Juana speaking Spanish. I'm normally bias to most books that have Spanish in them.
