This book definitely hit the marks on both lesser- known and obscure historical facts. To be honest, I couldn't have asked for more from this than that. It has an easy layout, and even an occasional cartoon. Smartly done, and much appreciated.

A decent and rather entertaining read, I knew many of these just from reading as much history as I do but there were still some new ones on me so that was enjoyable. I did find it frustrating when I knew the bigger picture making the snippets in the book feel inaccurate due to being taken out of context. For more casual history readers, or someone who is newer to history there are plenty of stories to hopefully catch your attention and inspire you to learn more.
