This was not a literary masterpiece by any means, but it was a fun and easy read. Sometimes you need something light and simple, and that's what this book was.
One big thing I hate in books though is when they finally get together, finally have sex, whatever it is, and some how that fix's all the problems the main character has had for years. It's just not realistic.
Regardless I still enjoyed the book.

This book was on my "need to buy/must read immediately" list for months, and I kept putting it off for something else.

i finally dove into this book, and while i loved the story, I did find it kind of predictable. I was also a little disappointed with how many chanced the main character gave out to people who were NOT showing her they deserved it. In the end it was neatly wrapped up in a very predictable bow, but I still enjoyed the story.

This book gets straight into the love story and trauma! Instantly connected to the characters and really enjoyed the development. The book explored way more than a love story - it’s about grief, friendship and growth. Really enjoyable. Recommend. Thank you to NetGalley for the ARC. This is my honest review.

Saw the promo for this book on Instagram and I was excited when I was approved for the arc.
It was promising at first. But later it got a little confusing.

My main problem was that I couldn't felt the spark and the chemistry between them. While I'm excited for this book but it was a letdown. It was an okay read for me.

Thank you to NetGalley and Wattpad for the ARC in exchange for my honest review.

What I Did Like:
+Good descriptions. Between character descriptions and descriptions of scenes and action, this one is easy to picture.
+Friends to lovers. Always a trope I like. The friendship between these two is never really in question. You believe that right from the start. That makes the romance cute and believable.
+I appreciate the changes in expectation. This one is really more about people dealing with grief in different ways than I expected and I like that.

Who Should Read This One:
-New adult readers who want a spicier romance than they can get on the young adult shelves but like the friends to lovers trope (beware the content warnings, friends).

My Rating: 3 stars
