Blurb: B meets the Angels and their routines and we get some answers

*SPOILERS IN REVIEW*

I’d compare this to Underground pretty easily besides it being much more fast paced. Very much character driven, meeting new characters, and getting new information about the apocalypse in general. I love getting old characters back as well, definitely interested to see how Rage turns out.
I’m not sure how to feel about the God/Satan aspect. Another review said it’s a way to combine sci-fi and fantasy so I’m just gonna think of it like that. I haven’t read anything from Darren Shan in over 10 years so I don’t remember any of his old tropes so I’m just taking this all in like it’s the first time again.
This was good, but I definitely enjoyed the previous books more. This felt more just like a push to continue to story.

Very good book in the series. The plot thickens, so to speak.

Wow that was a great book again. Less gore and less action-filled than the other books, but still good, and it also explains a lot of unanswered questions.

B. is really awesome. :)

Can't wait for more books. Gah, 2 or so months to go until the next book. *can't wait*

Oh Darren Shan I can't give up on you or this series because your books are so hit and miss as far as weather I like them or not. This time with Zom-b Angels you scored a hit. I enjoyed to see B interacting with new "people" and that you brought some of the characters I enjoyed from the last novel back. I have started looking at this series not as a different books in a series but more like one serialized novel, al Stephen King and The Green Mile. I hope this section of the serial marks an up turn for the series and I am looking forward to reading the next installment Zom-B Baby.

A solid fourth entry to the 'Zom-B' series.

A new faction is introduced, a few new characters and some old ones returning. The dialogue was enjoyable and the interactions between characters were believable, a lot of endearing moments between them.

A fair few YA and zombie tropes rear their heads and Shan borrows some concepts he used in his two vampire sagas, earlier in his writing career, but it's manageable.

The big moment is the final twist reveal. It's fairly expository but I think there's more to it than meets the eye. It's introducing the idea that sci-fi and fantasy may be intermingling in the origins of this world. Personally, I think it's a red herring. Shan's plotlines are rarely as simple as he presents them. But it's definitely slimy brains for thought.

B is insufferable in this book. I love the concept so I'm torn as to whether or not I want to continue. At least these books are short.

action, adventure and zombies. Seriously, the perfect book
finally, we're getting some answers. And this story was just one huge sprint. A very quick read with pictures that perfectly accent the story.

I can't wait for the next one!
