Great compilation for lovers of strange and sometimes absurd art.

I received this book as a gift for this exact reason and had a lot of fun going through the various artwork picked out to illustrate this concept of Fernal Affairs. That being said, the idea itself didn't really resonate with me and I found myself often skipping the actual encyclopedia entries after a while. People who are more spiritually inclined might find it very interesting, however.
The entries are also peppered with coded messages (the Fernal alphabet is given at the end of the book) and I think that might be fun to decipher.

As an artbook, it's quite beautiful. The pieces chosen were diverse enough to keep it interesting from beginning to end and I think it can be a great source of inspiration for original and creative ideas.

One strange thing I noted though is that a few images are blurry and not great quality. I don't know if it was a problem with the photo/scanning of the artwork or if the artwork was too small for a full page, but it was a mistake that stood out to me. They are really very few (three of four at most), so I don't think it should deter anyone interested in this book, it's just something to keep in mind.
