I picked up this book from the shelf at the holiday house i was staying at.
Didn't expect anything.
That's a lie.
I expected to see the side of erotica i haven't seen yet and i did. And that's the only thing i liked about it. There is so much to see.
The book is a second volume of an overview of 20th century erotica in pictures, paintings, drawings, illustrations, posters of famous artists so i'm interested in the first volume now too.
I got more disappointed flipping page one after another. I WAS MISSING CONTEXT. A LOT. I wanted to know more and i didn't wanted to google for it. It was missing explanations. I know it's an art and you should form your own opinion but still i know every piece has some kind of explanation and context.
So that's why it's a one star from me.
