Lovely plot! I just feel like the book and the writing needed a little more refinement before publication (unless you’re looking for an easy, one-sitting book).

Ugh, whats with all the man hate. 

As a feminist, I get wanting to tear down the patriarchy, but why is every man (except for the queer ones) in this book a misogynistic abusive ass? We know better than this. 

Also, the mc’s perspective on anything and everything is whiny and unintelligent… gross

This book is similar to „the lunar chronicles“. The sapphic love story is very prominent in the book and the challenging of societal norms contains just sexism. 

All in all it’s a good book for a younger ya audience
