OH MY GOD! This book was phenomenal! How had I not heard of it before? Like honestly it’s just the perfect book for me. There’s space, time, adventure, action, aliens. Like come on. This book deserves more hype. The universe had long since stopped expanding now, not so much. The universe has started collapsing again and the soldiers stationed on the edge have to figure out why. Thing is they have nothing to help them and the government couldn’t care less about them. All in all absolutely loved this book.

Round up to 4.75. I wanted fast paced cinematic space opera with light political intrigue and aliens and that's exactly what this serves. Sometimes the physics is a little beyond me but it was nice having to work some to grasp it. Character development is slow for some but I hope it'll build with the next books. Highly recommend.

Good world building, interesting characters and intriguing conflict at the edge of the universe. Decided to reread the beginning to better understand the initial setting.
