Beautifully written, quick read. Barbara O'Neal is such a wonderful writer. Engaging and gets to the heart of relationships. Kit and Josie have a strong, unique relationship. I would have liked a little more of Dylan's history but you get why it affected him as it did. Javier and Kit...what a great storyline!

I am Drowned. Finally found a book that actually catches my heart, my soul. Will never get over this book. Never. The whole story is a damn dream, but the only thing which gives it life is, the writing. The writing and imagination and the presentation is amazing, icing on the story. A book really, really close to my heart, from the very moment I laid my eyes on it. Took me to another world and wasn't able to bring me back. Maybe it hit me because of the love I hold for Ocean and beaches and waves and water, but still the book has a power to engulf you in its magic. Can't even imagine how much pain and suffering the characters suffered, if anyone even goes under something like that. Makes my heart ache by only reading it. Can't even read it all at once, had to give my heart a break to mourn the pain in every damn chapter.

This was a very slow-paced book. I was hooked at the very beginning and then from there it seemed to drag on throughout. I loved the love story that was sprinkled in, but felt like there wasn't enough development between the sisters when they finally found each other. The writing itself was descriptive and super good!
