This was a quick, sweet read. I did feel that Ollie fell for Ben maybe TOO fast, and didn't really understand what it was based on- a few minutes every day as he made deliveries? (and who can afford THAT much porn?) I'm also not sure that I bought into the happy ever after. Ollie just felt TOO young somehow. I've read books with age differences before, and even with one guy who was REALLY young, but I don't know if I bought the maturity in Ollie. In a lot of ways, he felt even younger than the 20 than he was, and I'm not sure that I don't see him eventually growing up and moving on.

I did enjoy Ben a lot, and got how his health could make him so insecure, and I loved his sister, and thought the medical aspects of this story were very well done.

Really, all the points go to Ollie here.

This was quite the sweet, ultra hurt comfort romance where Ben, sick and depressed, doesn’t dare to hope for fun or love. He’s stuck in his house due to his kidney failure treatments, but that doesn’t stop him from fantasizing about the only bright light in his life - delivery boy Ollie.

Ollie in turn, may be young and he may have a painful past, but he is the most optimistic bright light where though he can be hurt, he doesn’t let anything get him down for long. I truly enjoyed every scene Ollie was in - a great endearing character whose strength shines through his touching vulnerability.

Though Ben struggles with his various hang ups as he heals, these two really click and connect despite their age difference and polar opposite personalities.

Again, an enjoyable romance with plenty of smexy that I’m happy I could finally mark off my list!

I liked the chemistry between Ben and Ollie. I liked how Ollie brought Ben back from feeling alone and unlovable and how Ben believed in Ollie despite his age.

I really loved this book! It was super cute and entertaining - I found that I didn't want to put it down until I was finished. I loved the build up between the two main characters. Their relationship developed beautifully and even though they had a few hiccups along the way, the love and commitment they had for each other by the end of the book felt wonderfully real. Ollie was an absolute sweetheart and such a great character. He was so much fun and so full of life but he also had this layer of insecurity that he tried so hard to hide. He was the perfect guy for Ben, who had insecurities of his own to overcome.

Love it when an author can make me look inside a disability, debilitating injury or condition with more than just the illness at the forefront. Love stories that show me the raw and gritty edges along with the sweet and sexy moments are winners in my book. I know you can't go wrong with a Myles book and this one is no exception. It was perhaps more subdued than her other books but in no way less gripping.

This was a good book, I liked reading how the relationship develops and is handled when chronic medical problem is introduced. You really find yourself routing for the characters. Great read.

3.5 stars for this nice short story.
The story features cute, skateboarding Ollie and older Ben, in need of a kidney transplant. The medical issues are handled in a realistic manner and not glossed over. Both characters are engaging and as a couple, they just make sense, regardless of age difference. A nice HEA.
