I love it, but the conflict with Ravi was too short. I think it was just a chapter or something. If it is this short, then you don't need a conflict at all in my opinion. But great book aside from that

The book in general is engaging. But there are certain points in story where you feel it's little logic less. The ending could be little better.

the best book to date - pip is a girl writing her epq and decides to use it as an opportunity to solve an unsolved case in her village where Andi Bell goes missing, presumed dead. the suspected killer? her boyfriend Sal Singh. Through Pips questioning Ravi (Sal's brother) decides to help her investigation as he doesn't believe Sal was capable.
A numerous twists such as threatening notes, a girl locked in an attic, stolen/ downed dogs and so much more leads us to discover Eliot ward (pips best friends dad) had accidentally hurt Andi when he returned with first aid she had vanished and he thought she had gone home when she never turned up again Elliot panicked and realised he needed a cover and who better than her boyfriend who "couldn't take it all". In reality Andi returned home and was confronted by her sister who rightfully accused Andie of supplying Max Hastings with rhyponol which she thinks he used to rape her, getting annoyed Becca pushes Andi hurting her further and leaving her to die. When she realised her actions she hid the body in an abandoned septic tank. Things get worse when Pip uncovers everything as Becca drugs her with her tea we end with Pip being rescued and having the opportunity to present her epq

over all this book really helped me get into reading again and i cant wait to see the show

Copied from another app - I really enjoyed this book I liked how it was a different approach to a murder rather that’ll the killer or a professional and most the relationships felt real and it made me feel things - scared, worried, concerned, confused, excited, happy

I was pleasantly surprised by this book. The twists genuinely threw me and the characters felt pretty real. The dynamic between the MC and sidekick didn't feel particularly forced. The reason I docked a couple of points is because while the mystery was set up well, the fact the MC was able to successfully sneak away to accomplish everything is a bit hard to believe.

I was expecting this to be like a five -star-read-recommend-to-everybody type thing since everybody loves it so much and all, but it was kinda just mid. I mean it was fun, dont get me wrong, but I never really felt compelled to read it. it was kinda just another mystery. but I probably will read the second one bc I did enjoy it. and the mystery was good.
