This concept is interesting and well executed. However, the main character is very unlikable. Many of the secondary characters were a lot more intriguing, each of whom had more compelling motivations, and I would've loved to spend more time with them. I may have given an extra star in my rating if Sal had died at the end or had been moved to a new host, etc.

Skimmed this. I didn't feel drawn into the story anymore :/

Hmm, I'm glad that I finally got around to these and I did enjoy this, but it didn't really feel like this one lead anywhere. Especially compared to the big heights that it could have?

Better than book two by a long shot. Fishy came back around to being a character I liked. She pulled him back from the tedious place he ended up in book two. There were some pacing issues in this one, but I like how things wrapped up. Definitely not as good as the siren books or Newsflesh, but I am on the whole glad I read these.

This series has a really cool concept but is dragged down by the dumbest protagonists ever.

This is my least favorite of all her series.
