Love it. The series just keeps getting better and better with new trials for Claire and her friend in Morganville, Texas.

So much about this series makes me cringe. The interactions, relationships, choices... But yet, I need to know how it ends.

Ninth in the Young-Adult paranormal series, Morganville Vampires, Ghost Town starts with a bang. Claire has to work without stopping on the repairs for the machine that protects Morganville or face a hideous end. Well, she does have the option of tossing her friends out to save her life but, being Claire, she does get the machine repaired but everyone reckons without mad Myrnin who adds his own particular twists. Twists which lash back when humans and vamps begin to lose their memories setting back the progress made between the two "camps".

While I enjoyed the story, Ghost Town is more of a bump in the road. We do learn about Amelie and Oliver's past but it's the only real progress we see.

4.5 Wow, Claire she has had the worst Morganville can offer, wait no she hasn't. Everyone in Morganville is suffering from amnesia, humans, vampires, all have lost years. Chaos rules the streets, there is no safety. Her family is hurt by a sudden scary change. Her love life is ? her friends are ? Claire really is alone for the first time in this novel and she tries not to crumble under the pain.....
Fantastic edition in this saga, we get a good look at the characters. i found ti to be a adrenaline packed adventure in Morganville, oh the ending, wow !.. what could be next ?

So, the machine went crazy. Le shock.

I loved the way everyone was affected except Claire. My heart nearly broke when Shane forgot her and she had to tell him about his family. And the end, wow! Didn't see that one comung.

Explosive, that is the word I choose to use. This book was amazing. I couldn't believe all the twist, turmoil, and sacrifice. Just when you think you can trust someone, they betray you, and you trust the last person you ever thought you would. I loved this book. Read it in three hours, and could read it again. Which, says a lot because I typically do not re-read books.
