An exquisitely eclectic collection of poetry, essays, short stories, art, photographs, think-pieces, manifestos. All on the climate crisis- what we will lose, what we have lost, what we need to do. Implicit in that are issues of Indigeneity, justice, nature, children, beauty, words, the beauty of words, the justice of words. A mentally exhausting but wholly important read. 3.75 ⭐️ because of the “enjoyability” factor but that doesn’t take away from its necessity.

Some that touched my soul:
“Whale-Fall Suspension” by Adam Sol
“For the Feral Splendour that Remains” by CAConrad
“The Heart is a Knot” by Chris Bailey
“Grey Water” by Carleigh Baker
Both of Sarah Pereux’s artworks
“How to Small”
“On Radiance”
“Amateur Kittens Dreaming Solar Energy”
...
“Writing in a Dangerous Time” by Carrianne Leung
