”My teacher. My lover. My enemy.”
Twisted. Mind trickery. Angels and demons. Drugs, hallucinations, visions, and lies. A puzzle.

I picked this novel fully expecting paranormal angels and romance of the fog and dreamy effect. Nope! THis is all the way contemporary. Angel is only in the name. Once I moved past my shock and tried to view it in new eyes, it was such a bizarre spin on a love story. The circumstances surrounding Angel were not only weird but not fully explained as the story progressed. It felt more or less as a rush to get to the romance scenes. While I wanted to like this one I felt that the ending left me incomplete and with far too many questions left unanswered.

*Thanks to the publishers for entrusting me with an honest review.

I'm sincerely confused by all the 4+ stars folks left for this book. I mean, this storyline...I can't even begin to put into words how dissatisfied I was when I finished the book. The potential was there - wounded young woman with no memory except 16 years of abuse (torture), a phantom demon lover (don't get me started on THAT one!) who appears in the young woman's dreams, a young man who is equally tortured (emotionally) by the losses in his life, needing to find who out she is, where her family is, finding the villains...all these plot points for the the author to explore and you're left with someone phoning the hero telling them that they know who she is and that the villains were found and arrested. WTH?? The blurb implied that this romance had a bit of a mystery with a paranormal twist - know ahead of time that there's no action, no demons or angels (it's all in her head), no suspense, no satisfying answers, no feeling of closure - it's just a terribly written erotic romance between two immature people. Give this one a hard pass if you're wondering if this is worth reading.
