It's not as cute as the first one, but I liked this one more compared to the second one.

I didn't realize Rin and Aedhan were on the front cover until Erik mentioned something about his nibling.

"You feel like you've lost your path. It's natural to be sad. It's alright to let those feelings wash over you and give them time to soak into the earth. That's when things start to grow again."

I don't think it's qualified to read the second book to know who Rin and Aedhan are.
Erik calls Rin his nibling in this book!

The only thing that you'd miss reading the second book is how Aedhan and Rin met as well as how Erik lost his leg.

"Of course, I do, but don't you think we've found a lovely one out here"

This was a super sweet ending to this series. These books reminded my of a studio Ghibli film. Very low stakes and very sweet. I love this author! Definitely books that are ending up on my keep shelf!

The amount of warmth and happiness I have after reading this is infinite. I love the soft, cozy vibes so much and just want to bask in them. The themes of overcoming grief and finding a way to restart a passion or discover a new direction in life are beautiful and really tug at the heart. I teared up a little at the end! I wish I lived in this world and everything was in the color palette found here because it's beautiful. I can't fawn enough over the artwork and the charming characters. This might be my favorite of the series and I'm very reluctant to say goodbye.
