Finally a story where the FMC isn’t a Complete idiot… Don’t get me wrong, she wasn’t the brightest bulb. But I could relate to her anger and loved the ending turn around. Well played.
I just hope she doesn’t turn into a whiny 13 yr old like most do in the second book (I’m looking at you House of Beating Wings).
I won’t comment further for fear of spoilers, but I’m rooting for a strong female that grows and learns from her mistake but can still recognize the loving idiot of a man in front of her. Conflict done right!
