This short work was an interesting jaunt back into, seemingly, Beat Poetry. When I picked up the book, I had no idea that this Russian poet was extremely popular in the United States; running with the likes of Lawrence Ferlinghetti. These poems are visual and evocative, reading with the energy of a stage performer.
