(8/10)- I enjoyed this story. I liked the characters, the way it was written back and forth between the past and the present, the way it was written. Sometimes the story got confusing, since it wasn’t always written chronologically (let’s say four things happened, 1 2 3 4, but it was written as 3 1 2 4). Otherwise, I really liked this book.

Brilliant.If there is anyone who can right brutally poetic verse about those lost all their past, only to bear years of helpless yearning for a future that refuses to arrive, it's tMs Harding, the author of this story.

Slow-paced and description heavy, this book is far from an addicting, fast-paced read, but perhaps it's charm lies in its the stillness and the way the story gently unfurls like a blossoming flower. The language is rich, the imagery absorbing and vivid. It's very easy to get lost in the word that Georgina Harding presents. It's safe to say that I loved reading the book.

Beautiful. I liked the way it jumped back and forth between their pre- and post-war lives. And was interesting how it was inspired by James Castle. Probably won't read it again though.
