If you're not paying close enough attention you will be completely lost.  There were so many names, so many connections, at times it was hard to keep track.  I thought the unusual names would help, but they didn't.  All of that kind of took away from the book itself.  I really just wanted to know what happened to the kid!

Kellerman is another one of my favorites, but I thought this novel was a little boring. I was very interested in what had happened to the little boy and thought the mystery was interesting at the beginning. But then it seemed like a lot of driving around town and back-tracking, and I found myself drifting off at times instead of rushing to the end of the book. Maybe it was just a lack of concentration and totally coincidental, because usually these novels are page-turners.

A few of the more recent books in this series have been disappointing, but this one has Delaware back to something closer to his original character, a child psychologist. The solution to the murder mystery is a teensy bit outlandish, but not so much as to be ridiculous. The dialogue between Milo Sturgis and Delaware is witty at points. So this one sounds like Kellerman is actually writing, rather than phoning it in.

I'm never disappointed when I read a Kellerman book. While I would have liked to have more things tied up in the end this was still a good book. It's nice having someone who is consistently good like him. Kellerman >>>> Patterson.

Meh...this was just okay. This is my first Kellerman book. I think I would like to read some of his earlier books in the series because this book seemed too formulaic.
