Mixed bag on plot structure/holes but the storytelling, setting and characters are great. Read this in one sitting

i love both emily henry's adult work and magical realism, but with a million junes i got a little... lost in the sauce? i have no idea if that's the right usage of that phrase, but no matter how you put it, i was confused. emily henry always captures emotion beautifully, but unfortunately i think the magical element almost drowned it out a bit for me. definitely the right book for someone, but just not for me.

This was really immersive and unputdownable. This is definitely a supernatural YA romance so it does veer on the cheesy, but if you’re looking for a good audiobook this summer, this would be a great pick.
