This is the weakest book of he series so far. Remember all the lead up to interesting things in the third book, well you won't get anything about any of them in this book. It's a lot of trudging through the Riverlands and Cersei falling off her rocker. The latter was satisfying, the rest of the book, not so much.

I love the mixing of storylines in this novel. Also I always forget how much I hate Cersei

I love the series. I love Mr. Martin. This book was good, but I found it hard to step out of the shadow of Clash of Kings.

On to the next!

Nou ik ben er doorheen. Niet het beste boek uit de serie. Maar altijd vol met mooie passages en karakterontwikkeling. Wel beter dan de tv serie.

Found myself struggling a little with this book in the series; missing some of my favourites who don't appear and not enthralled by parts of the plot. Still, it's good, I did enjoy it and I'll keep reading the series.
