As if the 1% didn't already have enough advantages, Cory Doctorow imagines a world where they have become so super rich they are their own sovereign nations, and are no longer technically human. The rest of the world really just serves them. Sound familiar?

I will admit I didn't understand a lot of the marketing philosophy talk, and was kind of hoping that I'd grab enough of it to keep up when the story got going. And then the story ended.

Some good social commentary with a lot to unpack in the last few pages. As always, Doctorow gives me an enthusiastic sense of confusion.
