It is a classic, and it is entertaining enough. Once you get past the older style of writing, with more description than dialog, it goes fairly smooth.

Very fun read, and loved that it was read as an audiobook. The narrator did a really great job of reading it in a very fun way. Quite preductable but interesting! Definitely enjoyed it as I walked home from school in the winter ;)

The narration though, that was everything!! Hannibal Hills really brought the story to life with hilariously enthusiastic expression and accents.

Why do I always end up so disappointed with well-known, highly praised classics? UGH.

Well, I wasn't a fan of this book...actually, I had to force myself to finish it because it was sooo boring. Yeah. I had this (now absurd) thought in my head that I will like Journey to the Center of the Earth, but as most of the time, I was wrong. I didn't care for the characters(they honestly felt really flat and dull), I didn't find myself fascinated by this "great" adventure. This just was not a book for me.
