2019-2020 Bluebonnet nominee. Quick read. A true story with a bit of humor added to make it interesting. I felt it might have been better suited for children younger than my fourth grader.
My 9 year old daughter described it as “A bit of a weird story. (Because it’s about a band-aid) She still enjoyed it though.
I estimate it took about 20 minutes to read including the timelines at the end. After we were finished we looked up old band-aid commercials on YouTube. (It’s one of the recommendations at the end).
