I would like to thank the author for a copy of the book in return for an honest review.

Sebastian is the second son and as such has his own career as a detective for the bow street runners. He is investigating a certain gentleman who has been using ladies as sport.
Polly is the youngest of her family and delighted to finally have her season, when she is caught up in a certain gentleman's sport and needs Sebastian's help.

I like that the opinions of the day haven't been glossed over and yet Polly is treated with respect and not blamed for it by her family and friends. The change in Polly's affection is a little quick, but Sebastian's underlying feelings help to ensure it doesn't feel like its going too fast.
