I enjoyed this play a lot, it really evoked a lot of emotions and captured a really important moment in history in an impactful and thoughtful way.

Verrrrry interesting! I haven’t read a play in a while and I’m glad this was my re-introduction to the genre. I think this has a great balance of humor and tough topics (AIDS and ‘80s-era bigotry, mostly). 

Kushner has a mad genius imagination and I love him for it. No clue how this would be staged - guess I need to watch a recording of a performance! 

This play had me looking up Gorbachev, Roy Cohn, Ethel Rosenberg… excited for our book club discussion.

The Great Work Begins.

This is just as spectacular as you can expect from one of the most acclaimed plays of the last few decades, and it lived with me before I even knew it, and will continue to do so for much longer still.
