I think I might just not like cozy mysteries. Every one I’ve tried so far the characters always act like caricatures rather than real people and based on what I’ve heard that’s kind of a defining feature of a cozy mystery. I like realistic characters and tend to be annoyed by unrealistic/over the top ones… I’m not giving up on the genre completely yet but I have a feeling it’s not for me.
